About The Speaker

Dr. Jateen Ukrani MBBS, DNB (Psychiatry), FAGE, Consultant Psychiatrist pursued his MBBS from the prestigious Manipal University, Dr. Jateen Ukrani then joined VIMHANS, Vijayawada, to do his DNB in Psychiatry. Soon after completing his training in Psychiatry, he worked at IHBAS, a premier mental health institute in Delhi, for a short stint while exploring something that’s noble. Later he joined the Model Juvenile Deaddiction center at Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, the first-of-its-kind initiative in Asia. His dedication and hard work in treating and creating awareness about substance abuse amongst youth made him appear on News Channels like NDTV. The news articles frequently cover his views on Psychiatry issues like Burari suicides, Blue Whale challenge, Slap Bets etc. He Reguarly conducts workshops for training of Police personnel on Psychology of criminals and various mental health issues. Apart from doing all this, Dr. Jateen also mentors young doctors through his unique initiative Freeassociation.in
